does exactly what it say. no complaints with it whatsoever. hasnt slowed my computer down at all and just the occasional box saying if I would like to scan certain USB sticks or similar.
I saw a good review of this product in Computer Shopper, but was a little concerned that my PC may struggle being a few years old (2.8GHz). However I need not have worried, it works really well and does not seem to cause too much of a hit on the system. Highly recommended.
With both Microsoft, Apple Mac and Linux beefing up security of their own many feel it is not worth paying for additional internet security. This product produced by Kaspersky Labs comes from one of the best specialists in the field of cyber safety so are daily ahead of even the software makers. Well worth paying extra for added security on your computer.Kaspersky Internet Security 3 User, 1 Year License, 2010 (PC CD)
Kaspersky provides excellent protection that is easy for just about everyone to understand and in my experience doesn’t have many false positives at all and hourly updates keep users protected from the newer threats that come out everyday.
However my gripe with this new version of Kaspersky is the new UI and less control then the previous version (although is still more secure) changing firewall settings used to be a doddle in 2009 but in 2010 is a much more time consuming affair; although the average user probably won’t be concerned with this.
Overall its a great product at securing a system but lacks the finer control that 2009 had; recommended buy or if you still prefer free solutions give Comodo Internet Security a try and stay away from AVG.
this anti virus works well and i was very pleased in the way it protects my pc. I think kaspersky is one of the best if not the best anti virus on the market.
